May Update

The bathroom project is finally finished!

A big thank you to all who helped (you know who you are)!

 We replaced the shower unit with a tub/shower combo.

It didn't take long for Milo to discover the toilet paper :)

 Grandma Lu with two of her boys...Koral came for a week long visit. 

Milo was able to catch up with his cousins, Jasper and Lincoln.

Unfortunately the old "grease trap" was smack-dab under the concrete pad in

front of the garage...we had to tear it up to re-do the septic system.  

We poured concrete when it wasn't raining (which seems a rare occurrence these days).

First attempt at a video post...  Milo was getting a kick out of this song but it was about the tenth time through and he was starting to look for the next big thing.

April 2011

Here's the latest!  Milo has aged another three months and a few other things have happened.  April marked the end of calving and the beginning of spring.  Here are some picture of this year's calf crop being branded.  It was a great crew and the weather was good.  This year there were enough ropers that we were able to leave the rope on the heals and only had to hold the head.

Brock holds the head while Duane brands.  Shot givers here are Jordana Nesvog and Hana Klosterman.

Four at a time!  The ropers were showing their stuff at this point.  R-L wrestlers are Landon Lerwick, John Miller and Brock.  Mike Klosterman (father of Hana) is between John and Brock.  Stuart Hoar's daughter Riata is the roper against the gate.  Stuart has been roping at our branding for almost ten years now and is a big reason why we went back to roping.
